Your information

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the WiggleBud mobile beta handles personal information. Effective October 6, 2026.

Who operates WiggleBud

WiggleBud is a product operated by Rastko Djurdjevic, an individual in Serbia. He is the controller of the personal information described here. For privacy questions and requests, contact [email protected].

Information the app uses

Why we use it

We use this information to create and secure accounts; verify age; show dog profiles and nearby active walks; run requests, buddy connections and chat; calculate walk activity; send notifications; prevent abuse; review reports; and maintain the service. Account, profile, walk and social processing is generally necessary to provide the service you request. Safety and limited diagnostics support our legitimate interests in protecting members and maintaining service integrity, subject to your rights. Some processing may be required by law. Location and notifications also depend on your choices and device permissions; a device permission is not acceptance of these Terms. Where consent is the applicable legal basis, you may withdraw it through the relevant app or device control without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Who can see it

Nearby members may see an active dog's location while the walk is fresh and within the app's discovery rules; they do not receive a permanent buddy location feed. Ending a walk stops active public visibility. Other members may see the profile details and photos the app exposes to them. Buddy conversation participants see their shared chat. Reports and moderation evidence are restricted for safety review. Private account details and walk history are not presented as public profile content.

Service providers and transfers

The app uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage and server functions; Expo notification delivery and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for Android push; and Google Maps for map display. Cloudflare hosts this website and routes inbound support email. These providers process information needed for their services and may process it outside Serbia or your country. Where European data protection law applies, international transfers require an applicable mechanism and safeguards; contact us for information relevant to your data. The current app does not integrate a dedicated advertising or product analytics SDK. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Data remains while needed to operate the account and its features, for safety, or to meet applicable obligations. The app does not define one fixed retention period for every category. In Settings → Account Information, you can permanently delete your account, or request deletion without the app through our deletion page. The current deletion process removes account media through Supabase Storage, deletes the Auth user, and removes associated dog, walk, push-token and social data through database relationships and cleanup rules. Shared conversations linked to your connections are removed. Limited de-identified safety report information and a snapshot of a specifically reported text message may remain for moderation; reported photo references are cleared. Provider backups and operational logs may have separate limited lifecycles. Copies another person saved outside WiggleBud cannot be recalled.

Your choices and rights

You can edit profile information and photos, end a walk, change device permissions, block or report members, and delete your account in the app. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and complain to a competent data protection authority. Contact [email protected] even if you cannot access the app. We may need to verify account ownership before disclosing or deleting data. Never email a password or login code.

Children and changes

WiggleBud is for adults 18 and over. We may update this policy when features or practices change and will show the new effective date here.

Effective October 6, 2026.
